- Download the new language archive from the OCR Tesseract recognition language download page.
- Extract the new language file with the *.traineddata extension from the downloaded archive to the folder specified by the RiDoc program.
- Restart RiDoc. Select the new language for recognition
About the safety of using offline programs
Please note that the RiDoc program works in offline mode, which means that when creating documents in pdf, tiff, png or bmp formats, third parties cannot access your documents (all data processing occurs exclusively on your computer).
Third parties can access your documents if you use online services to create tiff files. In this case, the documents are sent via the Internet to the website of the service (i.e., to third parties).
